Soul, Optima – Top Sellers For Kia USA In August 2014

Kia Motors America published their sales figures for the month of August!

According to their official press release, the automaker sold 54,667 vehicles last month, up 5.1% compared to the same month a year ago.

The highly-popular Kia Optima and Soul crossover vehicle lead the sales last month with 15,337 and 15,069 units sold, respectively.

The top-selling duo was followed by the ever-green Sorento CUV, which recorded the sales of 9,302 units.

Also performing well last month was the Sportage CUV, which has posted a significant increase in sale compared to the same year ago.

Kia’s year-to-date sales are up 6.9 percent, and the brand’s aggressive new product cadence continues this quarter with the scheduled launches of the all-new Sedona and Soul EV.
