2011 Kia Sportage ALG residual value rating
American automotive data provider ALG has declared that 2011 Kia Sportage has the highest residual value rating in the compact CUV section. The outstanding rating of 61-percent of original MSRP for 3 years of ownership has made 2011 Kia Sportage stand in the league of BMW and Subaru.
The 2011 Kia Sportage Residual Value is 20 point more than 2010 model, which is remarkable leap in the automotive industry. Yes saddle leather would be nice, but remember Hyundai is more premium brand than Kia. Do you mean they are powered to sweep back vs manual, because they do sweep up instead of in towards door. I do like those options but I understand why they don’t.

As a fan of HK, I am very afarid that they going to No.1.
GM and Toyota falling quality problem when they at NO.1 position.
Quality suffers when you at number one. Just look at GM in the past and now Toyota.
1. Don’t surpass GM and Ford at US market.

3. Keep underdog position. Stay humble.
The first CUV that I could stretch my legs out in a comfortable position while driving, the driver seat actually can go back farther than I even need it to go and I am 6’4″! Firm ride without being harsh, great visibilty and smooth powerfull acceleration make the 11 Sportage a clear front runner again in the class it invented well before there even was a CR-V or Rav! 🙂
I did sit in one on the showroom floor and seem bigger than I imagined. I hope the SX can get here before Jan 2011 in the USA. Can’t wait to drive the turbo.

This is a happy and proud era for us Kia supporters. The boys have done us all well and they just keep getting better and better all the time. Now I think that No.1 in the world is do-able for HyunKia. Definitely do-able, dudes.
The thing is, everyone is criticizing Kia for raising the base price for the Sportage, but, for the old base price, you got a hell of a lot less than you get with the new Sportage base. Not to mention, once you add on the automatic transmission, prices are right about the same. Just the base price has gone up.

Kia did a pretty good job on the 2011 Sportage commercial here in the states. I see it all the time on CBS.

I wonder if Rio will have a Sedan and a 3 Door since the Accent has a 5 door now? A Lighter than Accent 3 Door Rio with a 140 HP engine would really pop. Iam hearing reports that Veloster is Avante Coupe. I cant confirm this but if that is so, then they probably will give it the 2.0 GDI like US Elantra. If they did such a thing, then a Rio 3 door wont face Cannibalization.

Up here in canada the only thing is that the 2011 sportage is more money than the 2011 sorrento, something’s not right. the AWD Sportage Ex with leather is $32,895 and the AWD Sorrento EX with leather is 31,695. Just doesn’t make sense.
Went to the Kia dealer to see the UVO system today. They say it is a work in progress and not available any time soon. ANybody know what the problem is with this system? Is it worth waiting for before buying a vehicle.
Kia decided to wait on the UVO when they can intergrate it into the Naviagation. 2011 Sportage Sx should see it first in Jan. I think that what Greg reported here.
You just reminded me! I heard today that Kia is considering releasing the non-navigation version this fall. We’ll have to see what happens. I know for sure we’ll have it by January though.
They should let customers have the UVO without Nav right now. My understanding it was going to be on the Sorento SX to start with. Maybe they are still working some bugs out of it.
