2018 Kia Stinger GT AWD Release Date, Specs, Tire Size

Official details about the 2018 Kia Stinger AWD or RWD sedan (release date, tires, pictures, etc…).

When Kia unveiled the GT concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, it was seen by many as a sign that the Koreans wanted to dip their toe in the GT market.

It took the brand quite some time to get there, but it appears to have been worth the wait, as the 2018 Kia Stinger, was unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

A side by side comparison of the two Kia sport sedans (the GT concept and production model) shows that there have indeed been elements taken from the concept for the production model.

Kia Stinger 2018The suicide doors of the concept are gone, but the top of the line Stinger GT trim has a look that is both aggressive and stylish.

As far as the segment goes, the Stinger is going to be one of the biggest cars in there, coming in at 190.2 inches (4.8 meters) long and 73.6 inches (1.87 meters) wide.

The wheelbase is also longer than most, stretching out to 114.4 inches (2.9 meters).

This means that cabin and cargo space should be good, with Kia going as far as to say that with the practical power liftgate open, there should be no problem getting full size luggage or even golf bags in the back.

Kia Stinger AWD

The Stinger was put through its paces on the fames Nurburgring test track, and will be the first sedan from Kia to be offered in both AWD and RWD.

The RWD model will feature a mechanical limited slip differential, while the AWD will be outfitted with the new Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control system.

This system constantly monitors road conditions and driver input to ensure that the right amount of power and braking force is applied to the appropriate wheels.

Kia Stinger 2018 engine specs

The US version of the Kia Stinger 2018 will come with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers an estimated 255-hp and 260-lb.-ft. of torque.

This model will come with the AWD configuration, and the engine will be mated to the same 8-speed automatic found under the hood of the Kia flagship sedan. These specs apply to the base model.

The top of the line 2018 Kia Stinger GT will come with a biturbo 3.3-liter V6 engine that generate 365-hp and 376-lb.-ft. of torque.

There will be the option to go with either AWD of RWD with this model, with the former option coming with the 8-speed transmission, and being able to go from 0-62 mph in just 5.1 seconds. Top speed on this model is expected to clock in at 167 mph.

Kia Stinger tires

2018 Kia Stinger GT releasedThe base model rides on 18-inch alloys with 225/45 R18 tires, while the GT model comes with 19-inch wheels and 225/40 R19 front and 255/35 R19 rear tires.

Those bad boys are equipped with ventilated Brembo disc brakes with four-piston front calipers and dual-piston rear calipers.

US release date

What about the 2018 Kia Stinger release date?

The new Kia Stinger will arrive in the US later this year, with pricing announced closer to the official launching event.

2017 Kia Soul Release Date, Turbo Engine, Colors, Price

It’s no real surprise that the Kia brand started to get some real positive attention after the release of the Kia Soul eight years ago.

The boxy little beauty was an instant hit, but if there was one complaint shared by its many fans, it was that it needed a little more zip.

Kia listened, and added a 201-hp turbo engine to the top of the range Soul Exclaim.

Here are 6 more things you need to know about the 2017 Kia Soul and 2017 Soul EV

  1. When can you get the 2017 Kia Soul?

2017 Kia SoulIf you are looking for the base models, you can get it at just about any Kia dealership across the US.

The lower spec models landed at the start of the year, and word is that the aforementioned 2017 Soul turbo model is already starting to show up in dealerships from coast to coast.

.

  1. More about the turbo engine and 7-speed DCT

This will be the first Kia Soul to ever have a turbo engine under the hood. It’s a 1.6-liter unit that is part of Kia T-GDi line-up.

When mated to the 7-speed dual clutch transmission, you can expect a very peppy 201-hp.

Even better news is that this extra power doesn’t come at a cost, as you still get fuel efficiency of 28 mpg, city/highway combined.

  1. The Soul Turbo is sporty

The Soul has always been a fun car to drive, but the extra jolt of power and speedy acceleration take it to new levels.

Hard to believe, but some new design elements make an already iconic design even more playful and sporty.

These new features include red-accented body trim, unique 18-inch wheels, chrome grille surround Soul tailgate badge, and a dual chrome twin-tip exhaust, which is a first for the Soul.

  1. Cool colors available

While the popular Solar Yellow exterior color is no longer available, the good news is that the groovy orange color will be making a return.

Before you go looking for it in showrooms now, we should let you know that the orange will likely be reserved for an upcoming Soul special edition model that Kia will unveil soon.

Your other 2017 Kia Soul color choices are brown and dark blue.

  1. Affordable Soul pricing for everyone

Listed below are starting price points for all Kia Soul models, although it should be noted that these numbers exclude the $850 destination fee.

  • Base trim (1.6L, manual transmission) costs $15,990.
  • Base trim (1.6L, 6-speed automatic transmission) costs $17,550.
  • Plus trim (2.0L, 6-speed automatic gearbox) pricing start at $19,650.
  • Range-topping Exclaim (1,6L turbo, 7-speed DCT) MSRP starts at $22,650
  1. Don’t forget the all-electric Soul EV

While there has been no official announcement regarding the 2017 Kia Soul EV, the first wave of the all-electric Soul is still available.

What we do know is that the 2017 Soul EV will now be offered with dark gray 16-inch wheel covers on the EV and EV+ trim levels.

Another new feature on the 2017 Soul electric vehicle will be the Cloud White exterior color.

You will also get a rear center armrest, as well as an audio head unit featuring rear camera display on a 5-inch color screen.

Best Box Shaped Car Of 2019: Kia Soul

A few years ago in the US, the “box on wheels” car concept was born, with several different boxy vehicles arriving on the market at the same time.

These cars were unlike anything ever seen before, which may explain why consumers were so taken by the look.

The design of these vehicles tends to go against the flowing designs of the luxury car on the market, but the practicality of the boxy vehicles is what tends to make them all the more appealing.

What boxy vehicles lack in the way of curves, they more than make up for with their efficient use of space. Practicality is more important than curves for a lot of consumers.

Top-rated boxy car of 2017: Kai SoulWe thought it might be a good idea to look at the history of the boxy vehicle, whilst also looking at which models survived, which didn’t, and what the sales numbers currently look like.

We believe that all this information will help you make an informed decision of it’s a boxy vehicle you are after in 2019.

Let’s start out by looking at the 4 most popular box-shaped cars to have graced the market in the United States.

What are/were the most common cars that look like a box?

  1. Nissan Cube (no longer available)
  2. Honda Element (no longer available)
  3. Scion Xb (no longer available)
  4. Kia Soul (still available, selling like hot cakes, and recently had a turbo and EV models added to the family)

The first of these 4 box shaped cars hit the market about 15 years ago. They all arrived with a bang, but all but one ended up disappearing with a whimper.

Nissan released the Cube boxy car to much fanfare, but their rival to the Kia Soul never really made any sort of impact.

It was never able to come close to the sales attained by the Soul, and it was really no surprise when it was removed from Nissan’s US line-up in 2014.

Another box-like shaped vehicle, the Honda Element, which made its first appearance in the US in 2003, fared a little better, and made it to 2011 before getting axed by the automaker.

The xB, the Scion box car, was the one that many people believed might actually be a rival to the Soul, especially since it was the first of the group to appear on the market.

It was the vehicle that Scion used to launch their brand back in 2003, and at that time, it was considered to be an ultra-hip vehicle that would set the tone in the urban utility market.

It was initially a hit with the younger generation, but an ill-conceived redesign in 2008 put sales of the model into a tailspin from which it was simply unable to recover.

It cannot be argued that sales of the xB were great in the early days, but Toyota, the owners of Scion, decided to finally pull the plug in 2015.

We have just ushered in 2019, and there is now only one car left standing in the boxy vehicle market: the Kia Soul.

Not only has the Kia boxy car survived, it has gone from strength to strength each year, setting new sales records in the process. Last year, the Soul moved more than 140,000 units in the US alone.

Boxy SUVs?

The current Soul is described as a crossover, as it is like two vehicles rolled into one. It behaves like a car on the road, but has the ground clearance of an SUV.

For now, there is only one version of the Soul available, but word is that an AWD model, much like the Trailster concept, will arrive in the next year or two.

That should help cement the Soul as one of the best boxy SUV’s ever created.

What makes the Soul such a great boxy vehicle

There are many reasons why the Soul is the best boxy car of 2019, but we have narrowed it down to just 5:

  1. It’s a remarkably reliable vehicle that has been recognized by J.D. Power as being the highest quality vehicle in its segment for 2 consecutive years.
  2. It delivers excellent gas mileage. The new Soul Turbo comes with a fuel efficiency rating of 28 mpg, which is great for a 200-hp plus vehicle.
  3. There are few cars around that are as safe to drive as the Soul, as this boxy Kia vehicle aced its crash tests in both the US and Europe.
  4. Also comes as an electric version. You simply cannot find another boxy vehicle out there that can get you around on electric power alone. The 2018 Kia Soul EV is even better now and delivers more than you would expect from an all-electric model.
  5. Best warranty in the business. Like all Kia vehicles, the Soul hamster car comes with a 10-year/100,000-mile warranty that simply cannot be beat.

A Few Tips for New Taxi Drivers

There is no way around the fact that your taxi needs to be on the road in order to make money for you.

As you are looking to buy a vehicle for this purpose, perhaps a used car may sound like a good idea.

It is important to remember however, that this choice inevitably has maintenance and upkeep costs that are not needed should you buy new.

Sure, you saved a little money buying used, but will the servicing costs erase these savings?

For many who know the Taxi Business, the Kia is an obvious choice, as these cars offer tremendous value for the money.

Kia Sorento SUV or Hyundai Santa Fe SUVIn addition to providing a strong economic return, they are within an affordable reach of most.

With the adequate space needed to ferry passengers with different needs are Kia Optima SW, and the Kia Ceed SW.

Getting started in the Taxi business has many start-up costs, which at times can be prohibitive for those just beginning.

Consider working for an existing company. While you will get a little less per client, there is the advantage of having a dispatcher providing you with fares.

Typically, there is no formal educational requirement needed to be a Taxi driver.

Make the time for some training. Depending on your city, courses will vary and can be anything from one day, to several weeks.

In this training, expect to learn things like local traffic laws, street layout, communication equipment, and taxi meter operation.

Often times, this training is offered at no cost by Taxi companies to new hires.

Do everything you can to provide quality service

  • Keep your car clean. It’s far from difficult and remember, in life, one never gets a second chance to make a first impression.
  • Stay off the phone. Give providing a safe ride to your passenger first priority.
  • Always stay calm. Never curse at traffic or other drivers.
  • Make it a point to always be courteous. Good, morning, good evening, thanking them when the ride is over goes a long way as far as word of mouth recommendation, and quite possibly, an always welcomed tip.

Never flash or display your money.

If by chance someone should ask you how business has been that day, rather than say it’s been busy and you have had many fares, just tell them things have been a little slow that day, and they are the first fair that you’ve had in hours.

Should your passenger offer to pay the fair with a large denomination bill, tell them you will take to a store where they can change it.

Regardless of who your fare is, what they may tell you about themselves, or even how they’re dressed, it’s imperative that you never let your guard down.

Do not ever underestimate a passenger and what they are capable of doing to you.

If you get robbed, comply with the bad guy and offer no resistance. By resisting, there is a very likely chance that you will drastically escalate the situation.

It is simply not worth it.

Of course you worked hard for that money, but remember, a wise man is one that will be here the next day.

Be wise and take out taxi insurance that will afford you a good level of protection for accidents and third party claims.

2018 Kia Picanto Release Date, Colors, Engine Specs

The second generation Picanto was unveiled six years ago at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, and now it’s time for the next generation to make its entrance.

The third generation Picanto, or Morning as it’s known in Korea, will once again make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, with the European-spec model the one that will be on display.

The European arm of Kia have yet to reveal too many detail about the vehicle, but thankfully the Korean version of the Kia website has been more than happy to fill in the details.

The new Kia Picanto 2018 (model year) will have a longer wheelbase (2,400 mm versus 2,385 mm), will weigh a slight 890 kg, and will be powered by a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine.

Kia Picanto GT Line design

2018 Kia Picanto GT LineAs far as looks go, this version of the Picanto is very much inspired by the sporty styling of the GT line of hot hatchbacks.

The use of a white-over-red exterior paint combo is especially pleasing, as is the dual chrome-tipped exhaust set-up around back.

On the inside, the look is fresh and modern, with oval-shaped outer air vents, two-tone part-leather seats, and a very nicely integrated touchscreen infotainment system all part of the package.

While the wheelbase on this model is longer, the length (3,595 mm) is the same as the outgoing model.

This mean that we are looking at shorter overhangs in front and back, giving this version a more assertive stance. It also means that a little more legroom will be available to the passengers, which is nice on longer rides.

Technology and safety are also improved with the addition of a more rigid chassis, as well as a Torque Vectoring Brake Based system, a knee airbag on the driver’s side, and the Autonomous Emergency Brake system.

Picanto colors

The South Korean version of the Picanto comes with 10 different exterior colors, running the gamut from basic white to the aforementioned red-over-white color scheme.

The wheels range between 14 and 16 inches in size, with several different designs to choose from.

The main engine on the new model will be the naturally aspirated 1.0-liter Kappa unit. The 998 cc 3-cylinder engine delivers 75-hp and 70-lb-ft. of torque, and which helps the vehicle to have an efficient return of as much as 16.9 km/l.

For US readers, that translates to an impressive 39.9 mpg.

As far as transmission options go, driver’s will be able to choose between a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic.

In Korea, the base 2018 Kia Picanto model starts at 9,500,000 won, which translates to €7,570 or $7,905 at current exchange rates.

Get Ice Off Your Kia Windshield In Seconds

Winter weather brings with it a host of issues that we are forced to live with when we live in a place with a colder climate.

Overnight winter storms that deliver power outages, and the cold and flu bug are just a couple of the issues that can make life unbearable for a few months.

If you live in a place that gets snow, then you are probably very familiar with the laborious chore of clearing snow and ice off sidewalks, driveways, and even your Kia car.

Scraping the ice off your Kia windshield is a must, as driving with an obstructed view is dangerous, not to mention illegal

Putting on the defroster and scraping the ice off the windshield is a pain, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

In most cases, you need to get out of bed a little earlier so that you will the extra time it takes to get rid of the snow and ice from your windshield, but we are here to tell you that there’s an easier way than the method you are using now.

Invest in a spray bottle and fill it with a mixture of 2 parts isopropyl alcohol with 1 part water.

Finish it off by adding 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap, and then shake the liquid vigorously.

Spray your concoction onto the frozen windshield and watch the ice start to melt almost immediately.

Rubbing alcohol is your friend during the winter months, and you can even leave it in the car overnight without fear of it freezing.

The reason it works so well on ice is because isopropyl alcohol has a freezing point of -128.2 degrees Fahrenheit.

That means it won’t freeze when it comes into contact with ice, and will in fact melt it, whilst not re-freezing after the fact.

A fine mist sprayed on the Kia windshield is all it takes to get the melting process started.

We have included a video here that shows exactly how this little trick works, so be sure to pass it along to anyone you know who doesn’t like the idea of going out in the cold to scrape ice off their windshield. (Source: inspireactachieve)

How Kia Can Maximize Your Uber Earnings

It was only a few years ago that you could have gone up to any gearhead and say, “Want to hear a joke?… Kia!”

But times have changed, and Kia is one of the fastest growing automakers in the world who has seen continual growth in global markets, and has even been named Best Global Brand for five years in a row.

Kia is now known for producing some of the most stylish cars in the world that are also fuel efficient, safe, and top quality.

The growth of Kia

Kia Motors began in 1944 as Kyungsung Precision Industry, a company that manufactured steel tubing and bicycle parts, but they soon grew and eventually produced the first Korean made bike in 1951.

In 1952, they changed their name to Kia and took off.

They went on to make motorcycles for Honda, trucks for Mazda in the 60s, and even vehicles for Ford in the 70s and on through the 80s.

1992 saw the incorporation of Kia Motors in North America where they took a chunk of the American car market by expanding into one region at a time.

Kia tiger nose grille

One of the big reasons Kia has gotten so popular is their distinctive style, thanks to the design genius of Peter Schreyer, a former designer for Audi.

Schreyer is responsible for making Kia some of the coolest looking cars on the road, including the distinctive “tiger nose” design of the grille which has become a signature look. It’s a design approach made to have something for everyone.

The Soul and upcoming Niro excite the younger crowd looking to make an impression, and sedans like the Cadenza and K900 have the stylishly classic lines and elegance that people want in a luxury car.

Why people choose Kia

Many people choose to buy a Kia because of their high quality, affordability, and style which is often why they’re an excellent choice for individuals who want to make money with Uber.

Several models would be great to use for working a rideshare gig, but a few stand out.

The Soul is a brand favorite and has become a pop-culture icon for the millennials who want to be practical and cool.

That, combined with high gas mileage, makes this a near perfect choice for something like Uber.

The K900, Kia’s full run at a luxury sedan, would be a perfect fit as part of Uber Black.

And if you want to be more of a shuttle service, or know you’re going to be driving around more than three people fairly often, the Kia Sedona minivan might be the perfect option.

Use Kia to grow your income

Uber claims that the median income of their drivers runs from around 60 thousand dollars to 90 thousand. It depends on where a driver lives, and a few other factors.

That said, it is still a great side or primary income for people with an excellent ride.

Keep in mind that Uber drivers are still responsible for things like insurance, tolls, and the general expenses of owning and operating a car.

This is what makes Kia’s such an attractive option for people doing rideshare gigs.

Not only are they more affordable than cars from other manufacturers, in a class by class comparison, but Kia’s also have some of the lowest 5-Year costs of ownership.

Conclusion

Kia’s quality and reasonable price make them a great value, and this combined with their low cost of ownership is also what makes them popular with services like Hyrecar.

Hyrecar is like a rideshare service, except instead of having a driver take you to destinations, Hyrecar lets users rent cars from their owners.

The people who rent out their vehicles can make money while they sit at home.

With Kia, users get a good, safe, and reliable car that will get them where they need to go in style. What more could they want?

Kia Roadside Assistance (Phone Number) USA

Things to know about the Kia USA roadside assistance program (phone number, contact, flat tire, etc…).

When you buy a new car, you want to be reassured that you have made a sound investment.

After all, you are looking at tens of thousands of dollars going into your new ride, and the last thing you want is to have to be shelling out even more money for repairs over the next couple of years.

If it’s total peace of mind that you are looking for in that regard, then you need to be looking at investing in a Kia, as they go out of their way to protect the people who purchase their vehicles.

2017 Kia Roadside Assistance ProgramYou may already be aware of the amazing Kia 10 year/100,000-mile warranty that comes with their vehicles, but you may not be fully aware of what you get with that.

The limited powertrain warranty, which is the one that is good for 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, is just one small part.

Were you also aware that Kia roadside assistance was also included in the warranty?

Perhaps not, but knowing that should be enough to make you realize that this already astounding warranty is even more valuable than it already appears.

What you need to be aware of here is that the Kia roadside service is just a phone call away, and they don’t merely operate on a 9-5 basis.

Kia 24 hour roadside assistance

There will be someone there to answer your call whenever you need them, whether that be in the middle of the day in a busy city, or in the early hours of the morning when you are stuck in the middle of nowhere.

There is a tremendous peace of mind that comes from knowing that help is just a phone call away, and that it is all part of the service you receive when you purchase a Kia vehicle.

Kia roadside assistance phone number

The Kia roadside assistance number (1-800-333-4KIA) is accessible toll-free from anywhere in the United States, which means that you don’t have to be worried about being charged for a call if you are somewhere out of state on business or vacation.

Kia will dispatch a service person to you as quickly as humanly possible, and they may be able to get you back on the road in a matter of minutes if the service call is for something that can be fixed on site.

This would include issues such as a dead battery, flat tire, or having your keys locked inside the vehicle.

If the roadside service call to Kia is for something that cannot be repaired right there and then, your vehicle will be towed, free of charge, to a location where the issue can be properly taken care of.

The Kia roadside assistance service is hopefully something that you are never going to have to use, but it’s nice to know that it’s there if you need it.

After all, most of us have had issues with a flat or a gas issue where we wished we had someone on hand to help as soon as possible.

Kia does that for you.

2018 Kia Models With Nappa Leather

Which Kia models come available with premium Nappa leather?

When you go looking for luxury with your new car purchase, one of the key elements of that upgrade is leather seating.

If it’s a Kia car you are in the market for, that means getting Nappa leather.

You are probably wondering the difference between that and other types of leather, and we are here to help explain it.

Some of you may be trying to track down an animal called a Nappa, as you assume it is some sort of animal hide.

Kia models with Nappa leatherSave yourself the trouble, as it doesn’t exist.

The word Nappa is used to describe how the leather was treated and tanned, with the result being a chrome tanned smooth leather that is extremely soft to the touch.

Nappa leather is breathable and incredibly comfortable, which is why it is considered such an upscale option.

2018 Kia models with Nappa leather

The Kia cars that have Nappa leather included take the comfort a step further by making it quilted.

The way the fabric is treated creates beiges that are softer and creamier, as well as blacks that are denser that you would generally expect from leather.

The 2018 Kia vehicles with Nappa leather as an option are:

  • 2018 Kia Optima: Nappa leather is available in two colors, a rich Merlot and Dark Aubergine
  • 2018 Kia Cadenza: Nappa leather is available with quilted seat bolsters accented by diamond shaped stitching
  • 2018 Kia Sorento: Nappa leather is available
  • 2018 K900: Nappa leather is available

Nappa leather is soft comfortable, and perhaps best of all, easy to maintain.

This is a material that you need to see and feel to full appreciate.

List Of Kia Models With AWD In 2019

List of Kia AWD vehicles on sale now & future.

A family sedan is a nice vehicle choice, but it’s a little limited if you want to hit the road less traveled. This is where an AWD vehicle can get the job done.

That said, it’s not just off-road enthusiasts that appreciate a vehicle with all wheel drive, as it’s also a good option for people who live in parts of the country where the weather doesn’t always co-operate.

Kia has several AWD models ready to go, so let’s take a closer look at what’s available.

Kia SUVs with AWD in 2019

Kia AWD

Kia Sorento AWD

This is a great looking vehicle that hides a lot of power inside a pretty package.

This is thanks in large part to the Dynamax AWD system, which uses several strategically placed electronic sensors to ensure that the right amount of power is delivered to each of the wheels on the Sorento as needed.

This system works in conjunction with Torque Vectoring Cornering Control (TVCC), which also employs sensors to help keep the vehicle stable and prevent understeer, amongst other things.

Kia Sportage AWD

Make no mistake about it, the Sorento is a large vehicle that might be more than some people want to handle. The Sportage is smaller, but it now comes with the same all-wheel-drive system as its bigger brother.

There is plenty of space and power to be found in the Sportage, making it a crossover vehicle that is perfect for everyday use, as well as for weekend adventures in the country.

Kia Stinger

The Stinger sport sedan is the latest Kia model that offers AWD. It has joined the range in the mid of 2018 and comes with standard FWD and optional AWD.

Future Kia models with all-wheel-drive

Kia have not officially announced whether they will add any more AWD models in the future, but the Trail’ster concept may be a sign of what’s to come.

This concept is a different take on the incredibly popular Soul, but there are no production plans just yet.

The carmaker has done a fantastic job of listening to the needs of the consumer over the years, so don’t be surprised to see more Kia AWD powertrain options in the future.

Kia AWD Q&A

Is there a Kia Sedona AWD?

Kia Sedona minivan is not offered with all-wheel-drive.

Kia Stonic all-wheel-drive to be available?

Kia Stonic AWD won’t be offered because it sits on a Rio platform, which only supports front wheel drive.

2018 Kia Cee’d Spy Shots, Release Date, News

These are the latest Kia spy shots and they showcase a heavily camouflaged 2018 cee’d 5-door hatchback.

This is the third-generation Kia cee’d, which first hit the market back in 2012, and which got a minor facelift last year.

There will be many more changes on the 2018 Kia ceed, which is currently out and about in the testing phase.

2018 Kia cee’d release date

The official 2018 Kia cee’d release date has yet to be announced, but we expect the model to be launched in Europe late next year.

Kia ceed 2018 - first picsBefore the actual release date, the fully redesigned Kia cee’d 5-door hatchback should do the motor show rounds, with Frankfurt in September being the most likely spot for the official unveiling.

The 2018 cee’d 3-door coupe and the 2018 cee’d SW estate will follow within a few months of the release.

2018 Kia cee’d spy shots

The 2018 Kia ceed spy shots were taken in Germany, and it would appear to be the production body on display, although it is heavily camouflaged.

What we can see is a sportier front fascia with a low grille and sleek headlights.

The tiger nose grille has undergone a little bit of a reshaping, too. Around back, the taillights are now a little wider than before.

2018 ceed engine specs

Under the hood, the engines used will be the same as those on the new generation Hyundai i30, which means the entry level engine will be a 1.0-liter turbo that cranks out 118-hp and 125-lb.-ft. of torque.

Also, expect a 1.4-liter that delivers 138-hp and 179-lb.-ft. of torque.

As far as diesel options go, expect a 1.6-liter engine with three distinct outputs: 94-hp, 109-hp, and 134-hp.

Engine choice will dictate the transmission, which will either be a 6-speed manual or the optional 7-speed DCT.
