Optima, Soul Receive Vehicle Satisfaction Awards
AutoPacific have handed out Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA) to a pair of Kia’s top performing vehicles.
The Optima midsize sedan drove off with the Best In Class Midsize Car award for the second straight year, while the funky Soul urban passenger vehicle took the Best In Class Compact Car award for the very first time.
Both vehicles have been posting stellar sales figures, with both hitting monthly sales records in May.
The VSA is now in its 18th year, with over 92,000 consumers asked to complete a study about their new vehicles.
Michael Sprague, executive vice president of sales and marketing, KMA, said that the awards received were all the more satisfying considering the level of competition across the board.
He feels that Kia are being recognized for their European-inspired designs and class-leading technology. He spoke about the different personalities displayed by both cars, but how they share the strength of the Kia brand.
Consumer demand for both Kia vehicles remains at an all-time high, which Sprague sees as being just one of the reasons why AutoPacific where so willing to present awards to both.
The AutoPacific VSA’s are in place to help car buyers identify the best vehicle options available in the US market.
A total of 51 different attributes are covered in the vehicle satisfaction survey, with everything from interior design to fuel economy part of the questionnaire.
