Price Of The 2013 Kia Rio 4-Door – LX, EX, SX
Meet the 2013 Kia Rio 4-door sedan, the automaker’s entry-level model in the US and Canadian markets.
It is one of the most affordable sedans sold in America with prices ranging from $13,600 for the base LX model to $17,700 for the range topping Rio SX.
Featuring the same architecture as the Hyundai Accent, the 2013 Kia Rio is available in three trims (LX, EX and SX).
In the USA, the Rio is offered in four-door sedan and four-door hatchback body styles, while some International markets also offer a sportier 3-door variant.
Power for all US-specs Rio models comes from a 1.6L gasoline direct-injection (GDI) four-cylinder engine with the option of either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Kia Rio 2013 – what’s new?
The new Kia Rio 5 was introduced in the United States in the third quarter of 2011 and went on sale there as a 2012 Model Year vehicle.
For the 2013 Model Year, Kia updated its entry-level model with the following features:
– standard steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters are now available on the 2013 Rio SX
– revised rear seat back release lever (flip-type handle) on 5-door models (optional)
– the fuel-saving Idle, Stop and Go -ISG system is now included with ECO Package [Source: Kia Motors America]
